Dr. Romanelli
Dr. James N. Romanelli is a board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice since 1990. He is the chief of surgery at Huntington Hospital in Huntington, N.Y. Dr. Romanelli received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1978 and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate in 1982. He then completed eight years of post-graduate specialty training in general surgery, plastic surgery, and hand surgery. An exceptionally talented and skilled cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Romanelli is pleased to offer his patients the personalized, attentive care they deserve.

Diane is a key member of our team. With over 18 years of experience as an operating room nurse, and more than two years of experience as a nurse practitioner, Diane assists pre-operatively, post-operatively, and during surgery.
Our exceptional nurses are with you at your consultation, during surgery, and in the recovery room. These important members of our team are compassionate, experienced, and sensitive to the needs of cosmetic surgery patients.

About the Romanelli Cosmetic Surgery Facility
Our office surgical facility is fully authorized by the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities to administer all levels of anesthesia, including local anesthesia, sedative, and general anesthesia. This means Romanelli Cosmetic Surgery can offer you the most appropriate level of anesthesia for your treatment. Anesthesia services are provided in our office surgical suite by board-certified physician anesthesiologists. Each of these dedicated professionals is caring, skilled, and experienced in the administration of outpatient anesthesia.
Overnight stays in our recovery suite are available with private duty nurses.
